Batterypack for iRiver H-340 MP3 / Media Player
H3xx Selfmade Batterypack, less than 10 Euro Just built acheap battery pack for my MP3 player, because the factory pack was not available. Went to the "Supermarket" today, found some parts and build my own batterypack for less than 10 Euro!
What to say, its working and charging the battery
I´m using 4 rechargable NiMH Type AA Batteries
Batteryclip 2,- bux Cable 1,- Plug (was the most expensive because I had to by a full power pack, threw the rest away, just kept the plug ) 6,-

Parts list, hmmm
1. It s a ready configured Batterypack for fitting 4 AA Cells (just a piece of plastic with some metal springs inside)
2. It s that peace of wire fitting to a 9V Block Battery, with open ends (just because of the plugs at the battery pack)
3. And it s that little Plug that is fitting into the Player (4mm outside-, 1.75 mm inside- diameter)
Just take a soldering iron, fit the cable to the plug (look that the +pole is in the center tube) thats it, nothing difficult really
The output voltage with 4 freshly charged NiMH Battery is 5.8 V (will be a little higher if you use Alkaline Batterys, but the charging circuit inside the player will handle that, I believe. It has to do the charging for a lithium cell, and that is not just a game! )
That "supermarket" is called "Bauhaus" don t know what s the name for such type of shop, but you can get flowers, lamps, bulbs and things to build your own house or to renovate your bathroom there.
